I Am An Entrepreneur 2011 Photo Contest
This is far more than just-another-photo-competition.
This is the place where you can earn bragging rights with friends and family when you share your very own images in an upmarket hard-cover book sitting on your own coffee table.

Participate in “I Am An Entrepreneur” photography competition, Worldwide entries invited and free to enter, winner will get approx $1000 of prize, entry deadline 31st December 2011.

The SEVEN Fund is pleased to announce the ‘I Am an Entrepreneur’ photography competition. This competition recognizes the outstanding use of photography to tell compelling stories of role model entrepreneurs from around the world. Anyone globally is welcome to participate in this competition.
Each quarter, ‘I am an Entrepreneur’ features a new theme to inspire photographers and document a different aspect of the entrepreneur’s experience. The theme for January – March 2011 is technology and the entrepreneur.

During 2011, the competition will award four(4) prizes, one every three months, over a period of one year. One finalist will be selected every three months, with a winning photograph for the quarter’s theme, and will receive a prize of $250. The grand prize winner (selected from among the 4 finalist photographs) will receive $1,000 at the end of the competition.

Copyright: Participation in the competition and submission of photographs grants SEVEN a perpetual, worldwide, royalty free license to use the images in its sole discretion. Submission of the photograph grants SEVEN the right to use the photograph in its media, including but not limited to its website, marketing materials, or upcoming books and films. Any photograph selected to be used in that way would be done so with proper attribution to the photographer, who would also be compensated for that work at market rates.

National Geographic Your Shot Competition

 

National Geographic invites interested parties to submit a digital photograph for possible publication in National Geographic magazine and on ngm.com  We will accept submissions beginning on the 15th of every month.

Copyright: You retain all of your ownership rights in material you upload.

Usage Rights: By uploading User Content, you grant National Geographic (which includes its subsidiaries, affiliates, joint venturers, and licensees) the following rights:

a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to display, distribute, reproduce, and create derivatives of the User Content, in whole or in part, without further review or participation from you, in any medium now existing or subsequently developed, in editorial, commercial, promotional, and trade uses in connection with NG Products. National Geographic may license or sublicense, in whole or in part, to third parties rights in User Content as appropriate to distribute, market, or promote such NG Products. An NG Product is defined as “a product of National Geographic, a subsidiary, affiliate, joint venturer, or licensee of National Geographic, in any language, over which National Geographic has “Editorial Control.” For the purposes of this Agreement, “Editorial Control” means the right to review, consult regarding, formulate standards for, or to exercise a veto over the appearance, text, use, or promotion of the NG Product.

You also agree that National Geographic may make User Content available to users of the Site who may display and redistribute it in the same way that National Geographic makes all other Content available.
